Permits (Issued by the Clerk's Office)
The Village Clerk issues various permits for peddlers, filming, dumpsters, handicapped parking, and more. To apply for a permit, click on the name of the form you need, print and complete the application, and return it to the Village Clerk's office with the appropriate fee for processing. Checks are payable to the Village of Sleepy Hollow.

| Appliances | All appliances require a permit for disposal - purchase it in the Clerk's Office - $30. each (i.e.: dishwasher, refrigerator, air-conditioner) |

| Dog License (PDF) | Sleepy Hollow Residents: You must obtain your dog's license, yearly, from the town of Mount Pleasant. Other County residents, must obtain their dog license yearly in the town they live in. |
| Dog Park Permit (DOC) | $25 per calendar year for Sleepy Hollow residents - and, $30 for Non- SH residents, plus a current dog license and updated rabies certificate must be submitted with the application. |
| Dumpster Permit (DOC) | $250 deposit plus $75 per calendar day. Must submit proof of delivery and pick up of dumpster/container. |
| Filming Application (DOC) | $100 Non Refundable Application - $1,500 per day-private property; $2,000 per day-village property (Other fees may apply) |
| Freedom of Information (PDF) | Application for Access to Public Records (0.25 per page plus other fees when applicable) |
| Gardeners Permits (PDF) | $175 permit fee plus $25 per vehicle fee; calendar year. |
| Handicap Parking Permit (PDF) | No fee - SH residents only. Medical forms must be certified by a physician |
| Vendor/Peddling/Soliciting (PDF) | $75 per calendar day (or) $500 for a calendar year |
| Street/Sidewalk Opening (PDF) | $350 per each permit, plus a $1,500 deposit - refundable per request - upon project completion and approval by the Department of Public Works |
Marriage Licenses | The Village of Sleepy Hollow performs civil marriage ceremonies at Village Hall, but you must obtain a marriage license from a Town or a City Clerk's office in NYS, prior to the ceremony. To schedule a ceremony please call 914-366-5106. |
